About BBTA

In the UK, there is a lack of participation in tennis by children from low socio-economic and ethnic minority backgrounds. It is important to provide these children with the opportunity to discover and enjoy this amazing sport and the benefits it brings.

The mission of BBTA is to break down barriers TO and THROUGH tennis.

Our organization believes that integration is crucial and our work focuses on fostering social and sporting connections between the more established and underrepresented groups in tennis. By doing so, we aim to attract new players, fans, and audiences, ultimately expanding the reach of the sport and its benefits.
